Weekends often become a whirlwind, and this one was no exception. With two birthday parties, my reiki session, tending to the animals, rototilling, and fulfilling family obligations, the weekend flew by. I had hoped to build my farmstand and expand the chicken coop, but neither project even got started. Upon reflection, I realize that sometimes it’s essential to slow down and embrace whatever comes our way. In the rush of work and planned projects, we can easily lose sight of what truly matters. Spending time with family is paramount. Time is a precious resource, and it’s impossible to know how much of it we have. The kids grow up so quickly, and the years seem to pass even faster. I don’t want to miss a single moment with the ones I love, even if that means some projects will have to wait. It’s a good reminder to pause and appreciate the simple joys—whether it’s stopping to smell the roses or, in my case, enjoying the bubbles.
