Ingredients:
4 cups Warm Water
4 tsp. Active Dry Yeast
1/2 cup Melted Butter
1/2 cup Honey
4 tsp. Celtic Salt
10-12 cups Unbleached Flour
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 360 degrees Fahrenheit.
- In a mixing bowl, add yeast, water and honey. Stir and let sit for 10 minutes until foamy which shows that the yeast has activated. (This must foam, if it does not foam, do not continue the recipe)
- Add butter, salt, and flour and mix to make a dough.
- On a lightly floured surface, knead the dough until smooth and elastic. Form a ball and place in a large mixing bowl.
- Cover the mixing bowl with a towel and allow to rest in a warm place for 1 hour.
- After 1 hour, punch down and separate into 4 sections.
- Roll out each section into a rectangle. Then roll into a log.
- Place each log into a greased bread pan and bake for 40 minutes.
- Allow to cool.
- Enjoy!
