Sourdough crackers are my favorite snack. This was the original recipe I started with and now I make so many flavors! No need to buy store-bought crackers anymore.
Ingredients:
400 grams Sourdough Discard
4 Tbsp. Melted Butter
1 cup Shredded Cheddar
1/2 tsp. Celtic Salt
1 Tbsp. Everything Bagel Seasoning
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 250 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Stir together the sourdough discard, cheddar cheese, and melted butter.
- Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Pour the batter over the parchment paper reading evenly to a thin consistency.
- Sprinkle with the salt & Everything Bagel Seasoning.
- Bake for 15 minutes.
- Remove the baking sheet from the oven and cut the dough into squares the size of 1-inch crackers with a pasta cutter or pizza cutter.
- Place back in the oven and bake for 1 hour.
- When the 1 hour has passed, turn off the oven and allow the crackers to remain in the oven for another 1 or 1 1/2 hours.
- Remove from the oven, and break into pieces.
- Store in a glass container with a lid.
