Family’s Favorite Meatloaf

There are countless variations of meatloaf, and over the years, I’ve experimented with many different recipes. While it may seem like a simple dish, this is the one my family always agrees on. It’s perfectly moist, hearty, and packed with flavor—leaving everyone feeling satisfied after every bite. Whether served with classic mashed potatoes or your favorite sides, this tried-and-true meatloaf is a comforting family favorite!

Ingredients:

2 lbs. Ground Chuck

1/2 cup Shredded Parmesan Cheese

2 large Eggs

1 tsp. Worcestershire Sauce

1 tsp. Yellow Mustard (or use Dijon Mustard)

1/2 cup Bread Crumbs or Panko Crumbs

1 tsp. Italian Seasoning

1/2 tsp. Garlic Powder

1/2 tsp. Onion Powder

1 1/2 Tbsp. Minced Onion flakes ( or 1 small onion diced)

1 tsp. Celtic Salt

1/4 tsp Freshly Cracked Black Pepper

1/2 cup of Whole Milk

1/2 cup Ketchup (homemade is preferred)

Instructions:

  • To a large mixing bowl add bread crumbs, milk, Worcestershire sauce, eggs, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion power, salt, pepper, mustard and whisk together.
  • Add ground chuck, parmesan cheese, eggs, and bread crumbs to the bowl and knead all ingredients together by hand.
  • Shape into 2 equal loaves and place in a large casserole dish 1-2 inches apart.
  • Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 1 hour.

Serves 4-6 family members.
