Homemade Alfredo Sauce

I’m particular when it comes to Alfredo sauce—I love a rich, bold garlic flavor. I’ve yet to find a jarred version that truly satisfies, which is why I created this homemade recipe. With its deep, roasted garlic essence, this sauce is velvety, and indulgent, and pairs beautifully with three-cheese tortellini for an unforgettable meal.

Ingredients:

2 full heads of Roasted Garlic

2 Tbsp. Avacado Oil (Or Olive Oil)

1 cup Heavy Cream

1/4 cup Sour Cream

1/2 cup Shredded Parmesan Cheese

1/4 tsp freshly cracked Black Pepper

1/2 tsp. Celtic Salt

Instructions:

  • In a blender, combine the cloves of 2 heads of roasted garlic, oil, and 1/4 cup heavy cream and blend until the garlic is well blended.
  • Add the remaining 3/4 cup heavy cream, sour cream, salt, pepper, and parmesan cheese to the mixture.
  • Blend again in the blender for 1 minute until creamy.
  • Cook sauce in a medium saucepan until melty and creamy 5-8 minutes at a simmer. Do not overcook.
  • Toss with cooked pasta. (Three cheese tortellini is the best!)
  • Serve with garlic bread.
  • Enjoy!
