Homemade “Jiffy” Mix

With this homemade cornbread mix, there’s no need for store-bought options! Just add a few simple ingredients—oil, milk, pure maple syrup, and an egg—for a delicious, homemade cornbread that’s quick and easy to make. Once you try this, you’ll never go back to boxed mixes again!

Ingredients:

2/3 cup Unbleached Flour

1/2 cup Cornmeal

3 Tbsp. Cane Sugar

1 Tbsp. Baking Powder

Instructions:

  • Stir all dry ingredients together and store in a Mason Jar with a Lid

Add these ingredients and bake for a delicious cornbread recipe.

  • 2 Tbsp. Oil
  • 1/3 cup Whole Milk
  • 1 large Egg
  • 2 Tbsp. Pure Maple Syrup

Add wet ingredients to the dry ingredient mixture above. Stir until just moist.

Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.

Fill a greased/lined muffin tin cup 2/3 full with batter.

Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
