Homemade Taco Seasoning

Making your own taco seasoning at home is a simple and flavorful way to avoid unnecessary additives and preservatives found in store-bought packets. Whether you’ve run out of seasoning or want a healthier, homemade option, this recipe will enhance your tacos with bold, fresh flavors. Give it a try—you may never go back to store-bought again!

Large Batch Ingredients:

1/2 cup. Chili Powder

1/3 cup Paprika

2 1/2 Tbsp. Salt

2 1/2 Tbsp. Onion Powder

2 1/2 Tbsp. Garlic Powder

2 Tbsp. Ground Cumin

1 – 4 tsp. Cayenne Pepper (depends on your desired spiciness – 1 tsp. = Mild, 2 tsp. Medium, 4 tsp. = Spicy)

Instructions:

  • Mix all ingredients until well blended.
  • Store in a sealed Mason Jar with a lid.
  • When ready to use, 3 Tbsp. is equivalent to a packet of seasoning.
