Roasted Green Beans

Green beans can be a hit or miss, but with the right seasoning, they become a delicious side dish everyone can enjoy. This recipe adds the perfect touch of flavor to elevate them from simple to spectacular. Give it a try and impress your family at the dinner table!

Ingredients:

8 oz. Cremini Mushrooms or your favorite flavorful mushroom(cleaned, and sliced)

1 lb. Fresh Green Beans ( cleaned and trimmed)

1 1/2 Tbsp. Avacado Oil (or Extra Virgin Olive Oil)

1 Tbsp. Balsamic Vinegar

Salt & Pepper to taste

2 Tbsp. grated Parmesan Cheese

Instructions:

  • Wash all veggies thoroughly and prepare as suggested above
  • Preheat oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit
  • Add beans and mushrooms to a large mixing bowl
  • In a smaller bowl, add olive oil and balsamic vinegar and stir together
  • Pour the mixture over the beans and mushrooms and stir to coat all with the mixture
  • Arrange on a large baking sheet in one even layer
  • Roast for 20-30 minutes in the preheated 450-degree oven
  • Start checking for preferred doneness at 20 minutes
  • Cook until all liquid appears evaporated
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste
  • Toss in parmesan cheese
  • Serve hot
