The Best Cream Cheese Frosting

This homemade cream cheese frosting is a family classic! It was a staple on my mother’s pumpkin bars every year, and no store-bought frosting comes close. Rich, creamy, and full of flavor, it’s perfect for cinnamon rolls, cakes, and more. I often add 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon of Ceylon cinnamon for an extra depth of flavor—give it a try!

Ingredients:

3 oz. Cream Cheese (at room temperature)

6 Tbsp. Butter (softened)

1 tsp. Vanilla Extract

2 cups Powdered Sugar

1 tsp Milk (to soften if needed – not required)

Instructions:

  • Add all ingredients to a large mixing bowl and beat until well-mixed and creamy.
  • Spread over your favorite dessert.
  • Enjoy!
